Some of things we plan to do is to organise training programs and courses, including curricula covering:  environmental health, infectious diseases (including those that can spread through the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory system, sexual or blood-borne contact, and chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear risks) that might cause epidemics or pandemics additional environmental risks, including weather-related ones and health risks resulting from natural disasters like large-scale fires or accidents.

These risks vary in degree, from common infections to life-threatening events; in kind, from floods to novel infectious diseases; and in scope.
In order to protect health issues and provide better and more equal health outcomes, the school will support public health research, scientific data, specialist training, and policy capacities to engage locally, nationally, and internationally with system partners.

We will train people to save lives, lessen harm, support the NHS, safeguard the country's public services, and promote economic growth by making sure we are ready for and able to respond to present and future heath security threats. CKT seeks to guarantee that those trained in this nation, will be ready for future health security threats, such as pandemics, and, when practical, can avoid them. We will serve as centre for training in health security and the nation's first line of educational defence against both domestic and foreign health threats. As part of our research center, We shall plan and prepare for health security threats, respond quickly, and work tirelessly to stop disease outbreaks and pandemics wherever we can through knowledge share, innovation, technology and inventions. This entails having the appropriate, tried-and-true research plans and capabilities in place to safeguard the entire population, utilising our scientific capabilities and tools to generate new evidence and insight to best protect against them, assessing the evidence to enable effective guidance, and being aware of the threats that are imminent through effective surveillance.

To achieve this, we draw on our knowledge and skills in clinical, operational, and analytical fields. To provide preventative care, we will collaborate with local governments and the NHS. Recognising the interdependence of humans, animals, plants, and their shared surroundings, we will collaborate across government on an equal and integrated Health strategy. We will also collaborate with business partners to implement strategies for swift and large-scale responses. We will promptly and openly provide knowledge and intelligence to partners about the most effective ways to address health security threats on a local, national, and international level.

Our objective is to train people take prompt action to safeguard those who are in danger, adjusting our efforts to take into account the fact that certain groups are disproportionately exposed to and affected by health risks. This will enable our student to be equiped to support local responders and scale up our reaction to meet the size of the danger as needed by providing flexible, fast, and evidence-based solutions at the local, national, and international levels. We generate and share scientific insight, intelligence, and direction by offering evidence, evaluation, and insight to guide the design of interventions and programs, whether they be our own or those of other organisations. We provide solid evidence and guidance to the government so that timely and efficient policy can be created. Additionally, we assist our delivery partners in responding by offering services like rare pathogen and microbiology and expertise ready to service environment and health sector.

Increase the UK's capacity for health protection.

To safeguard the nation's health both now and in the future, we must keep developing and investing in the scientific, clinical, public health, analytical, and operational capabilities required. We gain knowledge and skills in fields including data analysis, radiation, genetics, and diagnostics. High-containment labs and a multitude of public health data are among the vital infrastructure and national resources that we will safeguard a for health protection
In order to respond to infectious disease cases and outbreaks as well as other health security situations, CKT leads and provides professional health protection services locally, nationally, and internationally. We scale our response based on the severity of the danger and the needs of the communities that are at risk. By managing patients, contacts, and those at risk and offering partners locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally specialised technical guidance on outbreak management, we take the lead in the specialised response to public health incidents. We offer direct assistance, such as by deploying the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team abroad, and offer advice on enhancing health protection in priority nations and areas. Knowledge of data, analytics, and surveillance
CKT finds, monitors, evaluates, and interprets data and creates health danger forecasts. Our ability to make evidence-based operational and policy decisions is supported by data. We gather and produce useful data in a safe and acceptable manner, which informs our evidence and insight and helps us identify groups that are particularly vulnerable to harm. We employ our specialised analytical skills, such as our capacity to sequence genomes, to quickly identify threats and guide ground-based actions. Our data's insights are acknowledged globally and are used to promote evidence-based global action to address health issues.

Policy recommendations
In order to assist health policy, national security, and economic success, CKT will provides advice to the UK government on health security issues both domestically and internationally by drawing on our knowledge, data, and experience in providing health protection solutions from research.
Communications about health protection
Through research and consultation we will be warning and informing communities about outbreaks and how to respond to them, our communications team helps the public understand times of increased risk and enhances our standing as a reliable partner. Functions of the entire organisation

Without efficient corporate operations like finance, people, strategy, project management, legal, parliamentary, and estates, CKT's job would be impossible. For instance, our people team creates a diverse workforce with the essential skills we need to keep the public safe now and facilitates a pipeline for the talents we will require in the future, while our finance team makes sure we manage budgets responsibly and leads our income generation strategy.

How student and trainess will apply these skills to safeguard health

CKT employs building students and trainees’ skills to safeguard the country's health, such as:

• identifying and evaluating infectious disease outbreaks and providing quick, flexible solutions

• monitoring of several illnesses and environmental risks to guide programs for their eradication and management

• Quickly addressing the effects of environmental, chemical, and radiological events on human health.

• supplying top-notch scientific knowledge, information, analysis, and assessment to assist policymakers, guide responses, and spur innovation in fields like genetics and diagnostics.
Using our knowledge of the groups most at risk to fulfil our obligation to improve health equity; delivering internationally, both to prevent health threats from entering the UK and in support of our commitments to the WHO and other United Nations (UN) bodies; maximising the effectiveness of the UK vaccination program, with new vaccines introduced safely and effectively through the use of evaluation, modelling, and expert public health advice; supporting innovation in life sciences and health security sciences, thereby promoting economic growth

Additionally, CKT provides essential services to the government and the larger health system that are essential to its operation and lessen the strain on the NHS.

These consist of:

• NHS diagnostic and microbiological services: offering NHS trusts testing, analysis, interpretation, guidance, and training to help them make correct diagnoses and treat patients effectively

• Both for individual patients and for broader public health responses, our rare and imported pathogens service specialises in the diagnosis and case management support of uncommon or dangerous infectious diseases, particularly high consequence infectious diseases.

• Assessment of diagnostics and vaccines: conducting assay validation and verification and fostering innovation in vaccine development in collaboration with industry and academics.

• Monitoring air quality and providing other environmental and toxicological services, such as conducting air quality surveillance, accumulating data on chemical and environmental hazards, and advising partners in Integrated Care Systems and local authorities so they can collaborate with communities to enhance public health

Be prepared to handle any health risks.

Emerging risks have the potential to seriously impair society, the economy, and health. An infectious disease outbreak, a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or environmental catastrophe, or a natural disaster might be the next threat. No matter what it is, we can only stop it or deal with it successfully if we are ready. This entails being aware of potential threats as well as the dangers to certain communities and locations, and using this knowledge to make sure we have the appropriate surveillance in place to identify threats. In order to actively prevent risks or be prepared to respond, when necessary, it entails having the appropriate mitigations, strategies, expertise, infrastructure, skills, and countermeasures in place allows us to guarantee more efficient, effective, and equitable answers in the future. Our goal is for the nation to be more equipped to prevent health security threats and any pandemics in the future. We also want CKT student to provide world-class responses to significant health emergencies in order to reduce damage. Being a resilient organisation, we will be able to scale and modify our reaction to various incidents as necessary through training..

We will continue to focus our preparedness efforts on the increasing and detrimental health effects of climate change. Climate change raises the risk of environmental dangers like heat waves and flooding as well as infectious diseases like those spread by mosquitoes. In addition to promoting successful treatments to increase resilience and adapt to these changes, we will get a greater understanding of the effects on health, especially for the individuals and locations most at risk of negative outcomes. In order to identify and reduce the risks associated with the rise of zoonotic illnesses, we will operationalise the One Health strategy, integrating human and animal health seamlessly.

Goals

Our goal at CKT is to develop leaders who will protect our communities and planet from environmental public health threats. In close coordination with other health system components, we will accomplish this by providing high-quality training, consultation, research, and highly effective STEM education on environmental and public health concerns, preventing or minimising their potentially detrimental effects to the greatest extent feasible.

We are hoping to prevent future illnesses and reducing the impact of environmental public health hazards on livelihoods and society at large, our educational centre will show how investment in health protection training yields future value for money.

Our goal is for the communities and nation to be more equipped to prevent environmental health security threats and any pandemics in the future. We also want CKT student to provide world-class responses to significant health emergencies to reduce damage after graduating.
